Keyword research was happening without reference to the site's actual crawlability.
We built seo-node around the principle that architecture comes first. Before you optimise a page, Google needs to be able to find it. Before you build a link, the destination needs to be canonically clean. Before you plan content, you need to know what intent signals your existing pages are sending.
